The 787-10 is the third, longest and newest member of the 787 Dreamliner family of medium-sized, twin-engine airplanes. Launched in 2013, the 787-10 is in development and on track for first delivery in 2018.

The Boeing 787 is a family of super-efficient airplanes with passenger-pleasing
features that bring the economics of large jets to the middle of the market. The 787 family provides airlines with unmatched fuel efficiency and environmental performance – 20 to 25 percent less fuel use and emissions than today’s airplanes of their size. Airlines also realize more cargo revenue capacity — a 20 to 45 percent advantage over similarly sized airplanes.

What is 3D Touch

3D Touch

Before checking what Apple’s new technology, 3D Touch is, let's start with a [real] joke!

3D Touch - iPhone

iPhone 6s introduces an entirely new way to interact with smart phones. For the first time, iPhone senses how much pressure you apply to the display. In addition to familiar Multi‑Touch gestures like Tap, Swipe and Pinch, 3D Touch introduces Peek and Pop. 3D Touch senses how much pressure you apply to the iPhone’s display. Apple says that when you press the display, capacitive sensors measure microscopic changes in the distance between the cover glass and the backlight. Apple’s software will then determine how much pressure is being applied, and dynamically adapt based on the context.

Password Strength

Password strength is a metric (or measure) for the effectiveness of a password in resisting guessing and brute-force attacks. In its known form, it estimates how many trials attackers may need to reach to the password. The strength of a password is a function of size, complexity, and unpredictability.

Mad Max

Mad Max (2015 video game)

Mad Max
Mad Max (2015 video game)
Mad Max is a third-person action-adventure vehicular combat video game set in an open world environment and based on the Mad Max film series. It is developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It was released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 1 September 2015 in North America, 2 September 2015 in Australia, 3 September 2015 in New Zealand and 4 September in Europe. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, which features terrains like canyons, caves, and deserts. The game's story is standalone, and was never planned as a tie-in of any of the films in the series. Inspirations for the game were taken from the Mad Max universe instead of the films. Players control Max Rockatansky as he progresses through the wasteland to seek his lost car, the Interceptor, and to build his ultimate car called the Magnum Opus.

The game puts heavy emphasis on vehicular combat, in which around 60% of the game requires the player to drive their car to fight against enemies. Vehicular customization is also featured in the game. Avalanche Studios found developing a vehicular combat video game "a challenge" due to their inexperience in creating a game of similar style. The game's narrative and story will also be more "mature" than other titles developed by Avalanche like Just Cause. Announced at the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo, the game was "retooled" during development, and the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions were cancelled due to their hardware graphical limitations. Originally set to be released in 2014, the game was later delayed to 2015, making it one of the four titles to be released during Avalanche Studios' "biggest year since its inception" in 2003. The development of the game was handled by Avalanche Studios in Sweden, while another project, Just Cause 3, is being handled by Avalanche's division in New York. Upon release, the game received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Praise was generally directed to the game's environment direction, vehicular combat and graphics, while criticisms were directed to the game's quest design and story.

UML

UML

To understand what UML is, first one should know what Modeling is. Modeling is an engineering technique that helps build a model. Model, a representation of a system using symbols, such as a flow chart, schematic, or equation, is a simplification of reality; it is a blueprint of the actual system that needs to be constructed. Model helps to visualize the system being developed. Model helps to specify the structural and behavior of the real system. Model is a base for creating templates and design documents for developing and building the system. UML is Unified Modeling Language. It is a visual language for specifying how the target system would like, behave and work.

Summary of Tips for Overcoming Procrastination

Summary of Tips for Overcoming Procrastination

◾Awareness —Reflect on the reasons why you procrastinate, your habits and thoughts that lead to procrastinating.

◾Assess —What feelings lead to procrastinating, and how does it make you feel? Are these positive, productive feelings: do you want to change them?

◾Outlook —Alter your perspective. Looking at a big task in terms of smaller pieces makes it less intimidating. Look for what’s appealing about or what you want to get out of an assignment beyond just the grade.

◾Commit —If you feel really stuck, start simply by committing to complete a small task, any task, and write it down. Finish it and reward yourself. Write down on your schedule or “to do” list only what you can completely commit to, and if you write it down, follow through no matter what. By doing so you will slowly rebuild trust in yourself that you will really do what you say you will, which so many procrastinators have lost.

◾Surroundings — Repeatedly placing yourself in situations where you don’t get much done and are easily distracted– such as “studying” in your bed, at a café or with friends – can actually be a kind of procrastination, a method of avoiding work.

◾Goals —Focus on what you want to do, not what you want to avoid. Think about the productive reasons for doing a task by setting positive, concrete, meaningful learning and achievement goals for yourself.

◾Be Realistic —Achieving goals and changing habits takes time and effort; don’t sabotage yourself by having unrealistic expectations that you cannot reasonably meet.

◾Self-talk —Notice how you are thinking, and talking to yourself. Talk to yourself in ways that remind you of your goals and replace old, counter-productive habits of self-talk. Instead of saying, “I wish I hadn’t…” say, “I will…”

◾Un-schedule — If you feel really stuck, you probably won’t use a schedule that is a constant reminder of all that you have to do and is all work and no play. So, if your many attempts to make a schedule have failed miserably, make a largely unstructured, flexible schedule in which you slot in only what is necessary. Keep track of all the time you spend working toward your goals, tally it up, and reward yourself for it. This can reduce feelings of being overwhelmed and increase satisfaction in what you get done. For more see the book Procrastination by Yuen and Burka.

◾Swiss Cheese It —Breaking down big tasks into little ones is a good approach. A variation on this is devoting short chunks of time to a big task and doing as much as you can in that time with few expectations about what you will get done. For example, try spending about ten minutes just jotting down ideas that come to mind on the topic of a paper, or skimming over a long reading to get just the main ideas. After doing this several times on a big task, you will have made some progress on it, you’ll have some momentum, you’ll have less work to do to complete the task, and it won’t seem so huge because you’ve punched holes in it (like Swiss cheese). In short, it’ll be easier to complete the task because you’ve gotten started and removed some of the obstacles to finishing.
