Figurative Art

Art that describes artwork, particularly paintings and sculptures, which are clearly derived from real object sources:


Figurative Art

Figurative art refers to any art that represents an image from the real world. Though the term figurative art commonly refers to art which represents the human figure, or even an animal figure, the term can also be used in the more general sense of distinguishing representational art from abstract art.
