What is the Hardest Substance on Earth?

Lonsdaleite. It is 58 percent harder than diamond.

Lonsdaleite, also called Hexagonal Diamond, is an allotrope of carbon with a hexagonal lattice. In nature, it forms when meteorites containing graphite strike the Earth.
